The VXi BlueParrott B450-XT is the most advanced BlueParrott headset yet, designed to give users more in every category. First and foremost, the B450-XT delivers crystal-clear conversations, with VXi’s most effective (96%) noise-canceling microphone. The new B450-XT also gives mobile professionals more freedom to roam (up to 300 feet of Class 1 Bluetooth range) and more talk time per charge (24+ hours). There’s also a bigger, cushier ear cushion and a more-comfortable, more-durable padded headband.

Like other recent BlueParrott offerings, the B450-XT features VXi's exclusive, customizable Parrott Button™. With the complementary BlueParrott app, the Parrott Button can be set to perform a number of user-selected functions, like mute, speed dial or push-to-talk. The B450-XT also adds new Parrot Button features, including VoiceControl™ powered by Sensory’s TrulyHandsfree™ speech recognition technology, for hands-free control of headset functions, and voice memo record. Near-Field Communication (NFC) provides one-touch pairing, when used with an NFC-capable device, while low-energy Bluetooth 4.0 conserves battery life. And A2DP support enables music and GPS streaming.
TrulyHandsfree™ from Sensory is the industry’s most trusted small-footprint embedded speech recognition technology. A version of Sensory’s TrulyHandsfree for Bluetooth headsets allows the BlueParrott B450-XT to implement full voice recognition, augmented with natural sounding speech prompts and caller ID names. This provides a far more intuitive and natural user experience, eliminating the historic need for confusing button presses, LED flashes, tone beeps, and manually interacting with the phone while driving. The technology was purposefully designed to be robust to noise and can respond to commands in high-noise environments, such as in a truck cab, making it a perfect solution for today’s road warriors whose attention is better spent on driving. The technology enables simple voice control of functions like answering, ignoring or redialing calls, as well as checking battery and connection status.
